1) Assessing health needs and priorities of client population
2) Developing health programs and strategies such as infection control programs, etc.
3) Policy and advocacy: Ensuring that agency is compliant with state and federal regulations and advocating for the clients.
4) Health communication and education: Educating clients and staff on issues relating to public health.
5) Quality control: carrying out research on the quality of care provided to client and implementing strategies to improve the quality.
6) Organizing meetings and conferences in the organization to improve quality of care provided.
7) Assisting clients in the community with all the necessary resources.
8) Assisting clients get admitted to the agency as well as with their transitioning to other agencies/facilities and ensuring that the process is as smooth as possible.
